Best LSAT Test Prep Courses and Tutoring in Dublin
Manhattan Review in Dublin is a company that has been providing effective preparation services for the Law School Admission Test (LSAT) since 1999. Dublin students are offered a variety of options to assist them in their law school ambitions, including on-site LSAT prep classes, private LSAT tutoring, LSAT prep courses in online interactive format, and LSAT practice tests. Manhattan Review's LSAT courses are taught by the most highly credentialed local tutors and instructors, who combine a high degree of academic rigor with a comfortable atmosphere and convenient scheduling. Students outside the United States in particular benefit from Manhattan Review's approach to teaching and focus as an organization, and our company has always been primarily dedicated to the international student population that is a lesser priority to other test prep outfits. Dublin students who wish to attend law school in the United States or Canada will find everything they need for successful LSAT performance with Manhattan Review.
Law schools have a vested interest in accepting students with the highest possible LSAT scores. This is because the average LSAT scores of their admitted students contribute significantly to law school rankings. A drop in mean LSAT performance virtually guarantees a fall in the national rankings, leading to loss of institutional prestige. Since hiring decisions are often based in part on the rank of the law school from which an applicant graduated, law students can suffer adverse consequences as well from poor institution-wide LSAT performance. Given this situation, it is not at all surprising that law schools often regard the LSAT as the most important of application prerequisites. Law schools do not often concede this point, but available data provides sufficient evidence. For example, the Law School Admission Council, the organization that administers the LSAT, has created a calculator that uses recent admissions data to show the prospects for acceptance at ABA-accredited law schools based on GPA and LSAT score. Entering a 4.0 GPA and an LSAT score of 150 (approximately the 50th percentile of all test-takers) shows the odds of acceptance at Georgetown Law Center to be 10% or less for a student with this applicant profile, but a GPA of 3.0 (generally the bare minimum for any graduate program) and an LSAT score of 175 (the 99th percentile) results in a 31%-41% chance of being accepted.
Critics claim that law schools are too concerned with LSAT scores, but very few of these individuals are able to propose superior methods of screening applicants or advance solutions to the rankings issue noted above. In the final analysis, the controversies surrounding the LSAT do not matter to current law school applicants. The LSAT is still the linchpin of the law school application, and this is not likely to change anytime soon. Manhattan Review's LSAT prep courses and private tutoring help our students receive their best possible LSAT scores and get accepted to high-profile law schools such as Harvard, Columbia, UC Berkeley, Georgetown, and the University of Chicago. Graduation from a highly ranked law school leads to job opportunities in the legal profession, and our former students have been hired by prestigious law firms such as Baker & McKenzie, Jones Day, and Hogan Lovells.

Meet a Dublin LSAT Tutor: Terri F.
Terri F. is a graduate of Cornell University and Duke University School of Law. She scored a 173 on the LSAT, which is in the 99th percentile of all test-takers. She was previously an attorney at a major Chicago law firm before moving to Dublin to accept a position with an international relief organization.
Terri has been an LSAT tutor since her second year of law school in 2008. Her LSAT clients have been accepted to prominent public and private law schools, including several that are ranked in the top 50 in the United States. In her spare time, Terri enjoys Dublin's theatre scene, listening to Irish traditional music, and staying in touch with her family in her native upstate New York.
